Christian Dell, born in Offenbach am Main, Hesse, was a visionary designer with a groundbreaking approach. He completed his studies in silversmithing in 1911 and continued his education at the Saxon School of Arts and Crafts in Weimar from 1912 to 1913.
From 1922 to 1925, Dell served as the foreman of the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar. During this period, he developed an innovative and forward-thinking design style that remains influential today.
